David and Shaffen

Cory, an RA from the Maugenhart dorm came to help out with set up and cooking.  He had prepared two ducks to cook on a spit over the fire.  Way to go Cory!

The Ducks! (and dogs)

Cooking and sharing jokes & stories around the fire.  Luke, Shaffen, David, and A.J.

Special speaker, Rob Carey, came with his son Mika.  He shared about the difficulties he had growing up and how God used them later on in his life.  Rob is the fifth grade teacher at BFA's elementary school.

Our first group initiative:  Everyone over the electic fence (bungy cord) without touching it.  Luke is the first one.

Then Luke's dad, mark was next.

A.J. "Passes Over" to "Manhood"

Luke drives a stake into the stump as a point of reference of this significant day in his life, while his proud dad watches on.
